The generous donations of our selfless contributors are what make it possible for our volunteers to save lives every day. Without funds, many patients facing poverty must then also face the possibility of the death of a loved one due to an inability to pay for hospital bills. In a developing country with fractured health-care infrastructure, sources of financial support from social welfare programs are few and far between. Therefore, it is the priority of the Dow Patient Care Association (DPCA) to raise funds and dispense them accordingly to the needy patients presenting to the in-patient and out-patient settings of Dow University Hospital, Ojha Campus, Karachi, Pakistan.
